    We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join the XPO team at the Saint-Gobain Gotham Logistics Hub on a full-time, permanent basis. This position plays a crucial role in driving Saint-Gobain's operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives while providing essential support to project management activities.

    Pay, benefits and more:

    We're looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.     Responsibilities:

    Continuous Improvement:

    Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.

    Analyse current workflows and identify areas for improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

    Conduct process mapping exercises to visualise current workflows and identify inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimisation.

    Develop and implement improvement plans across the various sites, ensuring measurable results and sustainable practices.

    Collaborate in the development and testing of system upgrades and new system implementations.

    Project Management Support:

    Assist and support the Network Development Team in planning, organising, and executing various logistics projects to meet client requirements and deadlines.

    Coordinate project activities, including resource allocation and scheduling.

    Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or obstacles, proactively addressing them to ensure successful outcomes.

    Data Analysis and Reporting

    Collect and analyse data related to operational performance, project metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive alignment and achieve project goals.

    Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

    What you need to succeed at XPO:

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

    Strong administration skills are highly desirable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

    Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, with relevant certifications preferred.

    Previous experience in project management or project coordination roles, preferably within the logistics or construction industry.
