    As a Primary Teacher you will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum. As part of this role, you will engage and build productive working relationships with students, staff and the wider school community. You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with staff in a supportive work environment that strives for continual personal growth,.

    The successful applicant would possess sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum; be able to deliver content in an engaging manner; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a highly effective team member. Understanding and utilising Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and a strong commitment to High Impact Teaching [DOE Quality Teaching Strategy] in their approach to teaching and learning is highly regarded.

    Northampton DHS is located in the rural setting of Northampton. Providing high quality education for the local community, it caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 10.

    The school has nine all-purpose classrooms that are used by both the primary and secondary students. It has a custom built library, Early Childhood Centre, manual arts room, home economics room and art room. It also has two well equipped computer laboratories.

    This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment.
