- Manage consultant's operating diaries and surgical procedures scheduling.
- Organize patient admission times and instructions.
- Input patient information accurately into the system.
- Coordinate interpreter services when needed.
- Ensure patient waiting lists are updated and targets are met.
- Handle pre-operative assessments and patient records.
- Book clinic appointments and manage patient case notes.
- Coordinate patient bed allocations and admissions lists.
- Deal with enquiries from patients and staff courteously.
- Maintain waiting list systems and understand Patient Access policies.
- Arrange admissions for private patients when required.
- Manage cancelled operations and discharge processes efficiently.
- Good standard of basic education.
- Experience with Patient Access and Waiting List Targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of medical records systems.
- Experience in public-facing roles.
- Familiarity with Patient Administrative System (PAS/Medway).
