    About Our Client

    Based in Plymouth this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with clients from £250k - £1million plus turnovers whilst also acting for a significant number or larger clients across larger corporates with turnovers in excess of £100 million and other manufacturing and industry sector clients in the range of £30 - £60 million. The firm also acts for charities, not for profit and academies. There is therefore the whole range of clients to mould client work and portfolios accordingly dependent on the skill set, preference and motivations of the right people. Therefor professionals with an entirely accounts/tax focused background professional are of equal interest to those bringing mixed audit/accounts backgrounds as well. The firm is undergoing very positive, ongoing growth creating an environment with clear progression paths on offer for those seeking a route to develop in their careers.

    Job Description

    Joining as Business Services Manager based from the firms Plymouth offices you will have chance to carve a career within this successful firm with progression on offer for those looking for path to progress from this level potentially, whilst all to be explored around the motivations and fit of the right person. Your client base and portfolio can be moulded accordingly around the skill set and preferences of the right addition. So this might include audit service delivery, or it can offer an entirely accounts/tax focused client base accordingly. You will lead and manage the delivery of services to clients across varied industries developing client relationships, managing a team and work on wider advisory, planning projects in addition delivering on wider project work. You will have opportunity to progress and carve an influential role within this firm.

    The Successful Applicant

    You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background developed within accountancy practice, with skills across any mix of audit, accounts, tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery. You will have worked with any mix of wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, larger corporates/charities/not for profit clients etc. Your career will have been developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size from small, independent accounting firm background, through to Top Tier firms. You will have developed your career to the Managerial levels and be looking for a career move and role where you develop and progress within your career.

    Circa £35,000 - £46,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
