Accounts Associate
Our client is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting financial accuracy and contributing to the smooth operation accounting systems.
As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

Entering data into purchase ledgers accurately and using accounting systems
Conducting cross-checks on invoices to find discrepancies
Verifying invoices
Handling invoice queries and collaborating with vendors to resolve disputes
Managing sales invoices and keeping the sales ledger
Conducting reconciliations and posting receipts and payments
Aiding in the preparation of financial statements, spreadsheets, and reports as needed
Addressing finance-related queries and aiding with end-of-year procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
AAT qualified or working towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification
Strong analytical skills and ability in interpreting complex financial data
Meticulous with a prominent level of accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and prioritize workload
Excellent Excel and Microsoft skills
Essential experience with Sage Line 50, including purchase ordering and projects
