    Level 2 Vehicle Technician

    Are you a skilled and dedicated Level 2 Vehicle Technician looking for a new opportunity?

    Igloo is thrilled to be recruiting for a permanent position within a family-run business located in Avonmouth.

    This is a fantastic chance to become an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to the inspection and repair of vehicles in a supportive and collaborative work environment.


    The Role:
    As a Level 2 Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle preparation centre


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Working in the preparation centre where all vehicles undergo inspection and repairs.
    • Reporting directly to the workshop controller.
    • Preparing vehicles for the showroom and ensuring they meet the highest standards for customers.
    • Recording all repair work on a tablet using vehicle preparation software.
    • Identifying potential hazards and maintaining a commitment to high standards of Health & Safety.
    • Completing all necessary paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
    What kind of person are we looking for?

    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:


    • Hold a Level 2 relevant qualification, such as light vehicle maintenance and repairs.
    • Possess a current full UK driving licence.
    • Own a stocked toolbox to facilitate efficient and effective repairs.
    • Be available to work on a rota basis, including Saturdays.
    • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
    • Work well within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
    • Showcase problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.

    Shift Pattern and Compensation:
    Shift Pattern: 4-day week - either Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

    Hours: 06:00 – 18:00


    Competitive salary:
    £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (Overtime paid at time and a half)
