    Based in central Bristol, this chartered firm represents a diverse range of clients in a variety of industries, including single traders, partnerships, and limited companies, SMEs, and a considerable number of larger corporates with turnovers in excess of £40 million.

    Industries are numerous and diverse. It is possible to combine remote and home working. Flexible hours are also available, as well as a competitive income and benefits package.

    Your new role

    As Audit and Accounts Manager, you will work for a developing chartered accountancy firm in Bristol, supervising the supply of audit, accounts, and other wide-ranging services and consultancy, as well as planning projects for a diverse client base with a revenue of up to £40 million.

    The firm has a strong reputation in the South West and beyond, and it represents clients in a wide range of industries and sectors.

    You\'ll have a lot of client interaction and management responsibilities, and the Directors are looking for someone with the gravitas and experience to manage client relationships autonomously, develop connections, and scope for added value advising work.

    You will lead larger teams and play an important role in their development. You can also look to build, expand, and grow the department through new customer growth and company development.

    As a result, the right individual has the opportunity to carve out a vital role in this developing, very successful organisation and further their career as a key addition and support to the Directors.

    What you\'ll need to succeed

    You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a background in audit/accounting and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of smaller clients under the audit threshold in turnover, as well as limited company clients, SMES, OMBs, and other businesses over the audit threshold in turnover.

    Alternatively, you may have spent your entire career in a larger company focusing solely on auditing large corporate clients and are looking for a transfer to a smaller business with more autonomy, influence, and control over your own career path.

    As a result, your career could have started at any size accounting firm.

    You will have progressed to Managerial levels in your profession and be looking to advance your career as this firm\'s Audit and Accounts Manager within a firm and role where you can see a genuine obvious progression and development path on offer.

    What you\'ll get in return
    Circa £60,000 - £70,000 + dependent on the background and experience of the right person, plus benefits.
