    Are you a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for transportation and shipping? LGC, a world-class company specializing in scientific measurement and testing, is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our ambitious team in Hoddesdon, UK.

    Determine and ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and requirements
    Develop and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
    Conduct regular audits to monitor and evaluate compliance efforts
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on trade compliance matters
    Stay informed about changes in trade laws and regulations and share any updates with relevant individuals or groups.
    Resolve any trade compliance issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
    Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    Proven experience in trade compliance or a similar role
    Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and laws
    Proficient in using trade compliance software and tools
    Fluent in English, both written and spoken
    Certification in customs compliance or trade regulations
    Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as customs brokerage systems, trade compliance software

    Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on import and export compliance requirements, including proper documentation procedures, restricted party screening, and compliance best practices.

    Foster a culture of compliance awareness within the organization through training sessions and communication of regulatory updates.
