Apprenticeship programme
During this Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering programme, we will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career.
As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional knowledge and experience, you'll also gain academic and vocational qualifications such a Level 3 Technical (Knowledge) Certificate BTEC In Engineering, NVQ Level 3 (Competency) in Engineering & Working Safety (H&S) Certificate.
Throughout the 42-month programme, you will gain exposure to a range of experience through.
Carrying out regular inspections, repairs and modifications as well as assisting with the commissioning of new plant and machinery
Adhering and working to site safety rules, regulations and standards, such as Permit to Work and equipment isolations procedure and PPE standards
Maintaining and updating site risk assessments, completing quality and production documents and records
Recording use of stock and ensuring levels are maintained as well as picking/packing of spare parts orders
Accurately completing all necessary paperwork including shift reports and a record of all maintenance work undertaken
Performing any other duties reasonably requested by management or your supervisors
What are we looking for?
A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include English, Maths & Science.
A Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travelling between sites for development)
A passion for engineering
A high level of flexibility with an eagerness to learn and work in a team environment
Willingness to travel to college and overnight stays if required
