    Description

    Prior Park College seeks to appoint a suitably qualified, self-motivated, and highly organised Combined Cadet Force Lead (CCF), Duke of Edinburgh Manager. This is a unique combined role required for the safe, efficient, and effective running of the school's CCF contingent function, ensuring each pupil is positively encouraged and supported to develop their potential. Will oversee all training, stores, equipment, security, weapons maintenance, health and safety. logistics and administration.

    Through structured, military themed and adventurous activities, Prior Park College seeks to develop qualities of teamwork, leadership, self-reliance, resourcefulness, and responsibility within our cadets. These are personal qualities which will remain of value throughout the cadets' lives and will undoubtedly assist in the early stages of their chosen careers.

    Over the course of the CCF Programme Royal Navy and Army Cadets typically learn about weapon handling and safety, drill, map and compass work, field craft, sailing and watermanship, adventure training plus general military knowledge and First Aid.

    Will have acquired the broader knowledge, experience, and outlook to inspire, motivate and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills to ensure a high-quality experience for all cadets, staff and effective use of resources. Previous experience of management information systems (MIS), such as Westminster system or similar is desirable.

    This exciting position would be ideal for someone with excellent organisational and compliance capabilities, a team player with strong communication skills and is military minded who enjoys the outdoors. Possibly suited to a former or serving SNCO/Warrant Officer/Officer of the regular, reserve or cadet forces and have a good working knowledge of the cadet movement, a School Staff Instructor (SSI), a teacher who is a recent or current CCF officer or perhaps be an existing Dof E Manager eager for a new challenge.
