Job summary
We are looking for a motivated, experienced nurse to join our well-establishedCommunity Childrens Nursing Team . The successful applicant will work in partnership with families, the Community Childrens Team and multidisciplinary team across hospital/community to support the children on our caseload.
As a Senior CCN you will have the opportunity to shape and lead our responsive service as it continually adapts to the ever-changing needs of the families we care for.
The service works Monday to Saturday -
Main duties of the job
You will have a key role in leading care planning, training and multi-disciplinary liaison for CYP with a range of needs within their home, school and wider community settings. Experience in working in this environment is desirable.
The post holder will need to work autonomously using excellent communication and decision-making skills to be able to manage complex and difficult situations in a sensitive manner.
You will be part of a Community Childrens Nursing team with a high level of nursing expertise and be a role model to the nurses and students within the team.
