    Join us as we embark on a ground breaking journey at the forefront of technology innovation. As our Software Engineering Manager , you'll play a pivotal role in driving our technological evolution and shaping the future of our industry. Our client is an API first Technology Investment Platform who are making incredible waves in the industry.

    We are seeking individuals to lead our DevOps, Security, and Resilience squads, driving the establishment of new high-performing teams focused on building, recruiting, and formalizing their operations. In the first few months, their key objectives will be to immerse themselves in our existing team dynamics, understand our problem space and objectives, and kickstart the hiring process.

    Ideal candidates will have experience working in or closely with Platform/DevOps teams, rather than solely within feature teams. Additionally, candidates with a background in Financial Services are , as they will bring valuable insights into the regulatory landscape, ensuring compliance and security within our operations.     Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you'll lead our team in harnessing the power of cutting-edge technologies to deliver transformative solutions and drive business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Product Delivery Excellence: Collaborate closely with our product team to define and execute our product roadmap, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and security.
    • Team Leadership and Mentorship : Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your guidance will empower our team to push the boundaries of what's possible and drive technological advancement.
    • Technical Excellence Advocacy : Champion a culture of technical excellence and innovation, promoting best practices such as automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Your expertise in engineering methodologies and cloud technologies will inspire our team to excel and deliver world-class solutions.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other teams, including product, customer, operations, and risk, to ensure alignment on our strategic goals and deliver maximum value to our customers. Your ability to bridge the gap between technology and business objectives will drive our success in the marketplace.
