- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify current and future network capacity requirements.
- Analyse network traffic and performance data to identify capacity bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Develop capacity planning models and scenarios to identify capacity gaps and plan for future network upgrades.
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to design and implement solutions to address capacity constraints and performance issues.
- Monitor and report on network capacity utilisation and performance metrics.
- Conduct periodic reviews of network capacity plans and adjust as necessary to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in network capacity planning and performance management.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on network capacity planning activities and performance trends.
- Develop and maintain documentation of network capacity planning processes and procedures.
- Strong experience in network capacity planning and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of network architecture, devices, protocols, and performance metrics.
- Ideally holding current or previous CCNA
- Proficiency in network capacity planning and forecasting models and tools
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SNMP, ICMP, SolarWinds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to obtain Enhanced CRB, BPSS and SC clearance is required.
