    Description

    My client is an established and growing global organisation that works within the electronics distribution sector working with clients within the Defence, Aerospace, Automotive and Medical sectors.

    To support the business in all aspects of quality assurance - to ensure the business complies with International Standards, customer requirements and expectations in an effective and positive manner.

    Manage the company's adherence to regulatory compliance in respect of Rohs/Reach/Conflict minerals etc

    Act as company quality representative / point of contact on major company projects - Help solve day to day issues, manage supplier quality issues.

    Act as company quality representative on customer visits and audits
    Act as company quality representative on supplier visits
    Ensure company quality documents are controlled and updated in line with International Standards and customer requirements
    Provide appropriate internal/external training on company quality procedures and processes
    Facilitate and provide input to company quality improvement activities
    Effective self - management and self-motivation
    Effective planning of time and activity to meet customer goals
    Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing
    Commercial awareness
    Flexibility and organisation skills, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload

    You must have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other core applications.

    You must hold a valid UK driving licence
    Knowledge/Awareness of ISO9001 quality management standards (either direct or indirect role)
    Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
    Willingness to travel
    ISO/AS internal audit training
    Knowledge of Electronic or Mechanical Products
    Knowledge of Sharepoint
    22 days holiday - Plus bank holidays. Virtual Care - GP Service
