    Description

    Senior CE&I Designer (Aveva)

    Do you have a knack for turning engineering drawings and designs into reality? We are looking for a Senior CE&I Designer to join our team. Check out the responsibilities and qualifications below:

    • Development of layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD for drawing production.
    • Integration of design with Aveva E&I software packages and PDMS, including noding and routing.
    • Creation of CE&I installation designs using PDMS for equipment layout and cable containment.
    • Quality checks on the work of other designers in the team.
    • Collaboration with construction engineers to address installation issues and upcoming changes.
    • Adherence to company procedures for design development and control.
    • Communication with other designers across the project for consistency and knowledge sharing.

    Essential Experience & Qualifications

    • ONC/D or relevant installation design experience with Aveva training.
    • Ability to develop detailed CE&I designs based on guidance from senior engineers and conceptual sketches.
    • Background in design engineering related to hardware designs, cabling infrastructure, and general CE&I deliverables.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experienced with Aveva E&I (or E3D).
    • Familiarity with PDMS Model is a plus.
    • Knowledge of design methods and techniques in the CE&I discipline.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Design Tools / Software

    • Essential: Aveva E&I, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Office.
    • Desirable: PDMS Design 3D, PDMS Draft.
