Strategic Director Adults Health and Communities - Plymouth, United Kingdom - Plymouth City Council

    Default job background
    Full time
    Description
    Plymouth is Britain's Ocean City.

It's our ambition to become one of the most vibrant waterfront cities in Europe, where an outstanding quality of life is enjoyed by everyone.

We want to be a healthy city, whose people live in happy, healthy, safe and aspiring communities, where social, economic and environmental conditions and services enable choices that add quality years to life and reduce the gap in health and wellbeing between communities.

We've got great partnerships and leadership in place across the system, and we firmly believe we can achieve our ambitious vision.

For the Strategic Director role, we want to hear from candidates with extensive experience at both corporate and system-level leadership, who can help us to capitalise on our considerable strengths and shape a city-wide ecology of care and wellbeing.

Able to communicate an inspiring 'big picture' story of change, as well as having the professional credibility to instil confidence from day one, you'll have an outstanding record of visible, innovative leadership, working closely with partners to multiply collective impact.

Contact our consultants Dawn Faulkner or Rob Naylor on Closing date: 12 May 2024.
