    Our Legal Services client iscurrently looking for a Head of Wills Trusts and Probate in theirMerseyside head office.

    Supervisory responsibility: WillsTrusts and Probate fee earners and supportstaff

    JobPurpose:

    To be responsiblefor the professional lead legal training and supervision of theWills Trusts and Probate team and delivery of a professionalservice to external and internal clients. To achieve requiredoperational financial and client service performance standards. Tofully contribute to overall successful departmental and firmperformance effective business development and caseintake.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    PerformanceManagement

    Responsible forprofessional standards of the Wills Trusts and Probate team throughregular file reviews

    Supervise casework provide advice/guidance on technical and professionalmatters

    Devise implement and deliverstructured training programs

    Createand maintain best practice templates precedents and theirimplementation

    Conduct appraisals setobjectives and targets for the team

    Risk andCompliance

    Manage High RiskRegister for Wills Trusts and Probatematters

    Supervise staff on antimoneylaundering due diligence requirements

    Investigate allegations of professional negligence and report toMD

    Investigate potential dataprotection breaches

    Ensure Lexcel andcase management system compliance

    ClientManagement

    Devisestrategies for efficient case management fee recovery and clientservice

    Investigate client complaintsand draft responses per firmsprocedures

    Develop and maintainstrong client/stakeholderrelationships

    Requirements:

    Selfsufficient in producing own work on PC with high proficiency infirms systems

    Able to work withminimal administrative/secretarialassistance

    Weekly/daily contact withline manager fordiscussion/supervision
