    Our client in central Liverpool is dedicated to upholding integrity and making a difference. Originally a small team of Solicitors in Liverpool, they have now grown to over 200 staff members across Liverpool, Heswall, and Hoylake.

    Due to continuous expansion, our client is currently seeking an experienced Wills & Trusts Probate Solicitor to join their team in the Liverpool Office (applicants from other locations are welcome due to hybrid work options).

    About the position

    The Wills, Trusts, and Probate team prioritize tailored solutions based on each client's personal requirements, providing compassionate and expert legal counsel.

    This role offers diversity within a supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly team, ensuring each day is unique. Responsibilities include managing a diverse client caseload involving probate advice, will drafting, tax planning, trust advice, trust establishment and administration, estate administration, and powers of attorney. Direct interaction with clients, their families, carers, and other relevant parties such as medical professionals and case managers is also expected. Candidates should deliver high-quality and empathetic client service, nurture relationships with existing clients, and attract new ones.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will possess qualities of kindness, empathy, and communication skills adaptable to different client needs. While a STEP qualification is preferred, it's not mandatory. Given the collaborative nature of the team, the right candidate should demonstrate both teamwork and individual work capabilities.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Manage diverse client caseloads covering probate, will drafting, tax planning, and estate administration.
    • Directly engage with clients, their families, carers, and relevant third parties.
    • Provide empathetic and high-quality client care, building relationships with existing clients and attracting new ones.
