    Independent Reviewing Officer | Herefordshire | Safeguarding
    Herefordshire Council are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer within Safeguarding for a period of 3 months.

    As an Independent Review Officer you will be undertaking the key responsibilities in ensuring looked after children are reviewed and their progress monitored.

    The post holder will have one to one meetings on a monthly basis with the service manager, peer support though group supervision and will be encouraged to take up opportunities for training and development.

    Substantial social work experience [min. Good communication skills with children and young people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

    Undertaking Safeguarding Reviews in accordance with national guidance and local procedures; opportunity may arise to chair child protection conferences.
