- Data Analytics and Technical Proficiency: With a solid background in data analysis, forecasting, and a basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python, you will lead the development of data-driven strategies to meet business objectives and enhance product offerings.
- Extensive experience in product management or equivalent, particularly in commodities data.
- Strong understanding of the various commodities sub-asset classes (Energy, Metals, Agriculture and Carbon) and expertise in at least 2 of them.
- Deep knowledge of client cohorts and target audience for commodities data products.
- Demonstrated expertise in commodities and a comprehensive understanding of the trading process and data needs across each deal stage.

The team is responsible for identifying, creating, and designing data solutions that leverage Bloomberg's proprietary analytics and industry-leading commodities data. This requires an in-depth understanding of commodities data across the various asset classes including Energy, Metals, Agriculture and Carbon. It requires a good understanding of the intricacies of the data sourcing in commodities as well as a deep understanding of data feeds/API'S and the corresponding target client segments and use-cases.
Key to this is understanding the multi-dimensional challenges our clients are trying to solve and making sure that we remain their trusted partner as they work with us to build solutions driven by best-in-class data.
We are seeking a senior individual to join the Enterprise Commodities Data team as a Product Manager. This position will report to the Global Head of Enterprise Data License Content.
What is the role?
They will be responsible for building a strategic product roadmap and measurement of progress towards the long-term vision for Commodities Enterprise Data offering. They will be an integral part of our collaborative leadership team of seasoned product managers, working with key stakeholders across Enterprise Data entire range of products and solutions. In this role we expect they have an aptitude for sound judgment, excellent execution, coordination, collaboration, communication, and implementation. They must work closely with Engineering, Product, Data, Sales, and all relevant support teams. They will be expected to ensure a relentless drive to drive the Data business growth.
