    Clerical Assistant
    James Gillespie's Primary School

    Salary: £23,000 - £23,999 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
    Hours: 22 per week, 39 weeks sessional

    Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 8.30am-2.30pm

    We are seeking an adaptable and eager individual to join our office team permanently as a School Clerical Assistant. Collaborating closely with the Head Teacher, School Administrator, and Business Manager, you will assist parents and staff in ensuring the school runs smoothly. Proficient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are crucial.

    This position involves work regulated with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The selected candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent 3 months or more continuously outside the UK in the past 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be mandatory. You must provide this check. The final offer of employment and commencing the role are dependent on both pre-employment checks meeting the required standards.

    Our salary scale typically indicates the starting salary, which incrementally rises annually until it reaches the upper limit of the range.
