    This role sits within the Strategy, Insight and Governance team (S.I.G) in our Technology Department that holds accountability for providing internal consultancy to help transform UK Tech.

    Ability to pay attention to detail, communicate well and be a strong business partner are essential skills for this role.

    We need you to not only understand the data, but be able to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication.

    As a Business Insight Analyst, you'll need to:

    Business partner within UK Tech in order to produce high quality, accurate and timely reporting that effectively informs and drives the investment portfolio of the business.

    Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
    Interact with various stakeholders in order to understand what the data is telling you
    Be able to deliver Insight to management, "Tell the story" from the data and information sought out
    Ownership for the teams automated data processes
    Liaise with internal customers to fully understand data content
    Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the Tech Delivery using SQL (preferably using Snowflake)
    Able to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions (preferably using Tableau)
    Ability to present analysis and insight successfully to management using reporting tools
    Excellent communication for interacting with customers, Management and writing analysis / Insight
    Knowledge of Database and Data Warehousing concepts
    Experience delivering self-service tools, analysis and data solutions
    Knowledge of data analysis tools
    The ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
    Strong programming languages - SQL
    Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
    Business focussed with a strong appreciation for/background in Tech
    Experience in business intelligence and analytics platforms - Tableau
    This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office.
    We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.

    We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
