    Role Overview

    This is a 6 Months FTC to Working within the Marketing Department; the Events Coordinator will support global marketing and communication activities focusing on exhibition and event co-ordination.

    The Events Coordinator will help with event management, taking ownership of a number of global exhibitions, assist in developing and measuring customer and distributor engagement programs and have key involvement in both below the line and e-marketing initiatives.

    This position will require working out of the Rapiscan Salfords office in Redhill and will require travel to trade shows and events in the UK and EMEA regions as and when required.

    • Global Events organisation assistance:
      • Pre event organisation including pre-event invitations, advertising, and management of event on CRM.
      • Venue coordination
      • Coordination and management of stand sales staff
      • Stand concept, build up and break down:
      • Running and attendance of event
      • Post event organisation including recording and distribution of sales leads
    • Develop lead and customer nurturing programs using Rapiscan CRM system.
    • Management of marketing collateral and give-aways
    • Management of distributors contacts database
    • Support in the creation of marketing communications.
    • Support in the management of online Sales and Marketing tools.
    • Create questionnaires and surveys and provide post event or activity analysis.
    • Sales and distributor support as required including assisting sales with customer site visits and demonstrations.
    • Assist in development and management of Product Marketing Literature ensuring up to date information is available.
    • Working with various suppliers and record PO's and invoices.
    • Sales force and distributor support on a daily basis as required.
    • Methodical and well organised, good at juggling tasks and prioritising
    • Show initiative and creativity and have the desire to learn and develop.
    • Be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
    • Flexible in hours as this will not always be a 9-5 role (due to providing global support)

    Candidate Requirements

    • Able and willing to travel Internationally often alone - must be able to travel to EMEA regions without restrictions.
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Programmes such as 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics and Word.
    • Knowledge of InDesign would be useful but not essential.
    • Marketing Qualification or previous study - desirable not essential
    • International organisation of events/trade shows - essential
