- Develop and maintain equipment software alongside supporting documentation.
- Plan, design, and implement enhancements to current processes to increase productivity and efficiency, while managing risks associated with component obsolescence.
- Innovate, design, and implement new processes to meet manufacturing needs.
- Suggest updates to control systems for enhanced equipment performance.
- Ensure manufacturing teams have all required software, documentation, procedures, drawings, and parts lists from the technical construction file.
- Maintain and update site control system specifications and equipment standards.
- Validate software and control systems per relevant standards.
- Support Operational Technical teams in addressing breakdowns and fault-finding challenges.
- Execute other duties as delegated by the Operational Technology Leader.
- Relevant practical engineering experience through a technical education (HND/HNC/Degree) or a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Prior experience in related environments, such as medical device manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or special purpose machine building.
- Proficiency in programming, fault-finding, PLCs, and servo-controlled equipment.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley, Omron, and industrial robotics equipment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success with software, control systems, and mechatronics in similar environments.
- Competence in creating and modifying electrical drawings, preferably using AutoCAD.
