    Description

    We are recruiting now for a Head Chef to join our fantastic team within our modern independent owned bar/restaurant in Guildford. Competitive salary with OTE of £42,000pa, flexibility, no split shifts, great rewards and development opportunities. You will be given your bar/restaurant to treat as your own with our simple and proven framework

    Job brief

    Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff.

    Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes.

    Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise.

    Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations

    To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various chef roles in the catering business. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends.

    Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and turn our location into a favourite local spot.

    As a Head Chef you will:

    • Ensure that all food is presented for service in a timely manner and in correct sequence.
    • Responsible for daily operations in the kitchen.
    • Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food.
    • Managing, training and recruiting within your team.
    • Ensure that the company Health & Safety Policy is met at all times.
    • Create new dishes and new ideas.

    • Desire to develop the junior members of the kitchen team.
    • Has a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

    • Service oriented person who will exceed expectations to take our success to the next level.
