- Performing daily P&L reporting and analysis (T0 Flash and T1 EOD results).
- Performing daily position reporting and reconciliations between system of record and broker statements.
- Interacting with Gas & Power trading desks, risk teams and global counterparts to have a full front-to-back understanding of our commodities business, ensuring process alignment.
- Working with the Accounting team to understand and present economic value reconciliations and walk-throughs.
- As the Senior Analyst, acting as a mentor within your team, providing cross-training where needed and ensuring coverage during scheduled and unscheduled outages.
- Degree, or equivalent knowledge, in the fields of accounting, finance, economics, or similar.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Proficiency with Excel.

We are looking for a Senior Middle Office Analyst to join our growing global Finance team, based in our London office.
This Analyst will be focused on our UK & European trade operations for Gas & Power markets as a priority, whilst providing ad-hoc support to our North American Trade Control team.
As a hybrid role, there is an expectation to average 3-days per week working on-site in our London office. You will find our office on 2 London Wall Place, in the City.This is a full-time role, owning the following responsibilities:
