- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the architectural steelwork sector, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders to generate leads and secure project contracts.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements and project specifications.
- Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids, proposals, and tender documents in response to client inquiries and RFPs.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure favorable outcomes and mitigate commercial risks.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract execution, and ensure seamless handover to project management teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and commercial management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of architectural steelwork, structural engineering principles, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
