- Driving License
- First Aid (preferred)
- Ensuring high levels of productivity of the team
- Applying technical knowledge to problem solve on site
- Planning / Organisation of site operations
- Carrying out site surveys and inspections
- Coordinating and maintaining regular communication with consultants, sub-contractors, planners, quantity surveyors and other stakeholders involved in the project.
- Managing the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control
- Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings and toolbox talks as per the company policy
- Ensuring construction health and safety compliance
- Ensuring all site rules are adhered to by all personnel on site
- Organising and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector, building inspector, etc
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at sites
- Working with a flexible approach
- Co-ordinating supply and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
- Attending site management meetings

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Construction Site Manager role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction project. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of the construction industry including current building methods and regulations
Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS Training or Equivalent Construction Site Health and Safety Training
Minimum 5 years previous experience
Strong communication skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong decision-making ability
Ability to motivate others
Good teamwork and people skills
Attention to details
Good understanding of drawings and design
Be able to work under pressure
Strong leadership skills
Good IT skills (competent on MS software, such as: Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Well-presented and maintain a high sense of professionalism at all times

Responsibilities:
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience.
