    Description

    Our client operates at the intersection of technology and finance, utilising advanced algorithms and quantitative models to drive trading decisions.

    They are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to collaborate closely with the quant researchers and traders in developing and enhancing the complex, fast-paced trading systems.

    This position also puts early career software engineers on an accelerated development path.

    With apprentice style learning, specialised training, network building opportunities and skill-promoting projects, they help grow high potential software engineers to high business impact problem solvers.

    Design, develop, and deploy elegant software solutions across the firm's trading infrastructure.
    Collaborate with business leaders to define priorities and deliver custom solutions tailored to meet specific trading requirements.
    3-7 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably within the finance industry.
    ~ Proficiency in Python is essential.
    ~ Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
    ~ Previous experience in algorithmic execution and/or Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) is required.
    ~ Proven track record in software design and development, with the ability to tackle complex problems effectively.
    ~ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
