    Description

    An opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician with significant Stroke experience to join the Community Stroke Team working within the Heywood Middleton and Rochdale Community.

    This is a dynamic MDT supporting learning through apprenticeships, pre-registration students and junior staff rotations.

    We are looking for an experienced, motivated and well organised individual with highly developed skills within stroke care to join our Community stroke team.

    You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and an appropriately experienced practitioner in stroke rehabilitation.

    This is a full time position at 37.You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, work autonomously and be able to demonstrate effective leadership within Occupational Therapy.

    You will provide high quality care in an appropriate and timely manner, across Early Supported Discharge (ESD) and Community pathways, which is responsive to patients need whilst adhering to recognised policies and guidelines.


    Evidence of post registration training in stroke rehabilitation- A desire to learn and develop clinical skills and knowledge across all aspects of stroke rehabilitation- Excellent standards of care- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with patient's carers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

    A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
