The successful candidate will take specific responsibility for patient safety, quality and patient experience within the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) to promote learning and improvement within a just culture. The post holder will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and will support the team to continually improve patient care and experience and to deliver National and Trust initiatives. The Head of Nursing and Quality will provide forward-thinking clinical and professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels within the Division, ensuring that nursing resource is managed effectively. Working within the trust's governance framework, the post holder will lead with credibility and authority and be revered for high standards of patient care to ensure quality and safety.
