    Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) - Intervention Specialist

    Hours of Work: 8:30-3:30, Term Time

    Our client seeks a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant with a knack for conducting effective intervention sessions.

    As a valued member of the team, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils, particularly those requiring additional assistance.

    Conduct targeted intervention sessions to support pupils' progress in key areas.


    • Provide one-on-one support to pupils with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.
    • Assist with the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities and resources.
    Previous experience working as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, with a focus on conducting intervention sessions.


    • Strong understanding of key curriculum areas and strategies for supporting pupil progress.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
    • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting the diverse needs of pupils.
    • Relevant qualifications and training in education or child development are desirable.
    85-£100 per day for Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistants
