    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Wood is currently seeking a Site HSE Manager to join our leadership team at CATS Terminal on Teesside. This role is part of our Operated Assets Service Line within our Operations Business Unit. If you're a strong HSE professional with excellent communication skills, looking for stability and internal growth opportunities, this could be the right fit for you.

    As the Site HSE Manager, you will lead the HSE function, support business plans, and shape safety culture. This position requires interaction with regulators, environmental management, emergency preparedness, and security provision.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and report on HSSE management system effectiveness
    • Provide HSSE assistance to the Site Manager
    • Communicate HSSE requirements to relevant personnel
    • Develop and monitor HSSE indicators for improvements
    • Create annual HSSE objectives and oversee their implementation
    • Plan and conduct internal audits for the Terminal
    • Manage Emergency response capability
    • Produce HSSE performance reports and chair meetings
    • Liaise with Client HSE Reps and site Safety Reps
    • Manage HSSE incidents and lead investigations
    • Communicate with regulatory authorities
    • Promote Lessons Learnt within the organization
    • Manage security measures and budget

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • C&G, ONC/HNC or equivalent in Technical, HSE or related field
    • NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)
    • NVQ Level 5 IOSH (desirable)

    Job-Specific Skills

    • Knowledge of Oil & Gas onshore regulations
    • Strong planning and organizational skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
