- To support and deliver the project in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments, including verification activities to demonstrate compliance against project requirements, external accreditations and industry good practice.
- You will support the co-ordination, submission, compliance and management of all assurance activities and the resolution of assurance related issues.
- Ensure implementation of procedures including submissions from the supply chain and establishing test and inspection plans for delivery of the works.
- Attend pre-start meetings for significant projects (either in terms of value, complexity or QA/QC requirements).
- Support project teams in developing the quality plans / inspection and test plans are being followed and that customer/project requirements are being met, and review those from the supply chain.
- Assist delivery teams in achieving the required deliverables, and managing issues as required, also providing Quality advice to the Supply Chain where appropriate.
- Use existing systems to allow sample and benchmark plans to be established and agreed with customers and supply chain.
- Use digital systems to monitor the performance of quality planning /production of quality deliverables / managing of issues against targets.
- Support the Project team in collating and delivering handover records as per requirements, on time.
- Working to the processes and procedures of the Business Management System.
- Support the Quality team during internal and external audits.
- Support the implementation of either project or business stream quality strategies, plans and actions
- across the scope of services and full project lifecycle.
- Assist in training, coaching and developing quality skills, including sharing lessons learned.
- Support the establishment of a continual improvement culture.
- Support the undertaking of specific investigations and/or reporting on quality related issues as required.
- Support the use of appropriate digital toolset to support the project governance and quality assurance/measures on the project, including training of those tools.
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm and Right First Time.
- Prior Quality experience and/or relevant operational / technical experience to meet industry sector demands.
- Knowledge of ISO9000 Terminology.
- An understanding and commitment to Quality Management.
- Awareness of business improvement initiatives.
- Has an ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts.
- Work to plans and programmes.
- Pays attention to detail and sees things through to completion.
- Excellent at building relationships and can influence effectively.
- Can deliver reports orally and written in an objective manner.
- Ability to challenge existing methods and ways of thinking.
- Able to work within a multi-discipline team.
- Fully proficient in modern office computer systems and technology e.g. Office 365.
- Level 4+ Qualification in Quality, Construction or Manufacturing (relevant industry) or PCQI.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor trained
- Awareness of sector specific certifications and their requirements.
- Experience in using Digital Progressive Assurance systems / Electronic Forms.
- Operational experience in construction or asset management.
- Either a CQI Practitioner or working towards Practitioner status.
