    Job Description

    Quality Engineer - Supplier Accreditation

    Contract Duration: 6 months

    Location: Reading (Hybrid-working)

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of the Supplier Accreditation and Assurance Model in collaboration with Commercial and Health & Safety functions.
    • Create supplier assurance and accreditation policies, standards, and processes for clarity in supplier roles and responsibilities.
    • Work cross-functionally to define and implement standards and processes for supplier competency assessment, monitoring, and site management.
    • Identify enhanced IT tools for managing supplier accreditations effectively.
    • Ensure supplier accreditation processes align with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish supplier audit and non-conformance activities covering the supplier site activities lifecycle.
    • Implement processes for right first-time delivery assurance in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Support leadership in implementing process assurance and improvement across the supply chain.
    • Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement within the MBNL ecosystem using appropriate methodologies.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in Supplier Quality Assurance and/or Supplier Development.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven background in quality assurance, supplier audit, and process analysis.
    • Organized, analytical, and systematic in work approach.
    • Ability to address and solve problems effectively.
    • Proficient in administration and coordination.

    Desired Skills:

    • Understanding of the Telecommunications and Construction sectors.
    • Experience in a managed services environment is advantageous.
