    Our client, a leading luxury retailer, is seeking a Financial Controller to join their rapidly expanding team.

    This role, reporting directly to the Finance Director, is pivotal for the success of the finance team and wider business.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing day-to-day accounts operations while also contributing strategically to drive continued success.

    This position offers an attractive salary range of £65,000 - £70,000 and is based in Manchester City Centre.
    As a Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of our client's finance team. Your role will involve managing daily accounting operations, providing valuable financial insights, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will coordinate annual budgeting processes and prepare financial forecasts that underpin business planning and resource allocation. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and tax laws will be part of your remit.

    Managing cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organisation's ability to meet its financial obligations will be another key aspect of your role.

    Enhance the quality of line management within the Finance department through feedback, training, and development plans.
    Oversee daily accounting operations and provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives.
    Coordinate the annual budgeting process and prepare financial forecasts for business planning and resource allocation.
    Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and tax laws.
    Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organisation's ability to meet financial obligations.
    The ideal Financial Controller candidate would bring a wealth of experience from a fast-paced, e-commerce environment. Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role.

    The candidate should hold ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification and have at least two years' experience in a similar role.
