We have a new opportunity to be part of the Finance team in the role of Financial Operations Manager.Purpose To lead and develop a Financial Operations team that delivers best-in-class Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions to ensure efficient, robust and compliant P2P and O2C financial processes operate across the team.
To actively contribute to the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor's ChampionshipPrimary ResponsibilitiesTo operate the best Financial Operations team in Formula OneTo drive process improvement opportunities across P2P, O2C and Treasury processes, bringing external perspectives to drive best-in-class performance and adding value to all relevant stakeholdersTo confidently and effectively lead a team recognised by the business as proactively driving improvements in all Financial Operations processes, including P2P and O2C, with tangible resultsTo lead a motivated, high-performing team delivering against clear objectives and development plansTo ensure that all customer and supplier invoices are processed and paid on a timely basis and in line with contractual termsTo ensure that full reconciliations of all supplier ledger accounts are maintained monthlyTo ensure customer and supplier queries are resolved on a timely basisTo ensure the timely preparation and approval of payment runs, proforma and ad-hoc payments to be made from group bank accountsTo ensure the integrity and accuracy of all supplier and customer master dataEngagement with and education of non-Finance personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the P2P, O2C and Treasury processesTo be a respected member of the Finance leadership team, chairing, attending and proactively participating in meetings as requiredTo work proactively, responsibly, and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company's reporting structureTo maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of P2P, O2C and Treasury processesAny other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job roleSkills & Knowledge RequiredPossess an excellent working knowledge of O2C, P2P and Treasury processes, especially in a high-volume, fast-paced businessAbility to lead a highly-performing team and function known for its excellence, reliability, thorough understanding of the business requirements and ability to respond to them in a compliant yet effective mannerOutstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities, able to communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully internally and externallyNumeracy and an eye for detail, capable of working quickly to a high standard of accuracyExpert in the use of Microsoft products, including but not limited to Microsoft ExcelAbility to problem solve with sound decision-making skillsTo be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environmentAbility to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescalesTo have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environmentBe results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skillsBe enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleaguesExcellent organisational skillsAbility to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & SafetyAston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is committed to making sure our selection methods are fair for all.
