- First point of contact for customers reporting IT issues via a multitude of channels (including phone, email, and ticket system)
- Providing excellent customer service
- Prioritising tickets and managing queues
- Creating and following documented procedures
- Investigating technical issues and applying fixes
- Liaising with internal colleagues to ensure the correct solution is implemented first time
- This role will also require the ability to drive and attend client sites when remote solutions are unsuccessful or unsuitable. A company vehicle will be provided for these situations.
- A good level of technical knowledge and experience
- Understanding of file / sharing permissions, Active Directory
- Networking knowledge (IPv4, VLANs, NAT, Proxy etc.)
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and a willingness to make correct support decisions and ask for help when necessary
- Full UK manual driving licence
