    Job Description

    Director of Technology - Accounting & Advisory

    • You will look after the IT operations for a small team of people Advising clients on Technology in the accounts & advisory space.
    • As Director of Technology you will oversee the implementation and management of technology systems, infrastructure, and processes.
    • Career development to CTO in two years; As CTO, you will be externnally client facing, spearheading product innovation and technology strategy, collaborating with C-level executives to shape the company's tech vision, and leading the technology team while ensuring alignment with the 2024–2027 strategy.
    • Essential experience; Strong awareness how technoloy can transform traditional accountanct practices and drive efficiency.
    • Essential experience; Experience of RPA in accounting

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Up to £100,000 with additional benefits.
    • AUTONOMY: Once a month from the London office.
    • INTERNATIONAL: Global client base and occasional global travel to impressive locations.
    • CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Progression to Chief Technology Officer within two years.

    Your experience:

    • International tech experience in the Accounting & Advisory sector, essential.
    • Adopted technology solutions in accounting and audit.
    • Proficient in AI, cloud, and data analytics in accounting and advsory
    • Strong communication and influencing skills are required. You will be comfortable presenting to large groups and translating the benefits of technical matters to non-technical people.
    • Willing to travel and present at conferences.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    1. Advocate for technology adoption at partner accountancy firms.
    2. Drive buy-in for advanced tech among member firms.
    3. Develop strategic growth plans for tech areas.
    4. Establish yourself a tech leader in executive circles among customer networks.
    5. Network, present, and lead discussions at events while organising technology-related committees and actions, exploring emerging tech opportunities like AI and blockchain to enhance network value.
