Financial Controller

Location: Glasgow (Urban Union)

Your new role

Being the first point of contact for any queries, or requests from the Finance Director, you'll be a team player and strategic thinker, keeping close control of costs and building sustainable relationships to drive customer satisfaction and business success. As Financial Controller you'll be responsible for:

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and ad hoc management information requirements

Preparation and review of monthly profit and cash forecasts

Preparation and review of weekly cash forecasts

Cashflow management

Preparation and review of annual budgets

Attendance at monthly Contract Review and Board Meetings

Ensuring compliance within Robertson Management System.

Ensuring Divisional IR35, VAT and CIS compliance.

Approval of payments to supplier and subcontractors

Assistance in ad hoc projects across the wider construction group of companies.

As Financial Controller you'll be a qualified financial accountant, have the ability to manage budgets, lead and motivate being able to build effective working relationships and influence others. You'll have a good attention to detail and have experience of working to tight deadlines with experience of identifying and delivering business process improvements.
