    Job Summary:

    The Head of Sourcing and Procurement will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, and experience in managing manufacturers, freight forwarding, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, and last-mile delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
    3. Lead supplier selection and qualification processes to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and operations, to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
    5. Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels, reduce lead times, and minimize carrying costs.
    6. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities or risks.
    7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
    8. Implement and maintain robust systems and processes for procurement, order management, and supply chain visibility.
    9. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and warehousing partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
    10. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance related to sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities.

    Job Requirements:

    1. Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
    2. Minimum 10 years in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management within the supply chain industry.
    3. In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
    4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and international trade regulations.
    5. Experience in managing global suppliers and conducting business across different countries, especially the US, China, UK, and Canada.
    6. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools for inventory management, order tracking, and data analysis.
    7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    8. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
    9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    10. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs.
