In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

Due to expansion within our Purchasing team, we are now recruiting for two Senior Strategic Buyers to join our team.

Based in Cwmbran, these are full-time and permanent positions, with the option of hybrid working.
Leadership of a group of designated buyers across the purchasing function
Acting as a coach to designated buyers within the purchasing function in order to
To issue and monitor RFP/Q's to strategic suppliers using available engineering data
Setup supplier data within the business ERP system

Using MRP data to raise necessary PO, and work with a predetermined number of

correct quality standards.

To manage large scale purchasing projects such as industrialisation of new products

that include but not limited to composite, metallic and electrical structures and
Responsible for the creation and updating of the multi Business Unit Target Purchasing Strategy (TPS)
Maintain metrics of supplier performance including Cost savings
To provide Management Metrics to allow for accurate and easy monitoring of
Travel specifictity
Travel both within the United Kingdom and internationally is required to carry out
activities such as supplier Annual Performance Reviews (APR) and project specific
Our in-house design studio co-creates the most innovative experiences in the sky with our airline customers and partners.

Global Mobility
