    Weare recruiting for a this fitness job inLeicester for one of the UKs leading leisure clubchains who have gyms all over the UK.     This is a very handson managementrole within the fitness industry and encompasses many areas thatcan be covered in more detail when you connect with one of ourfitness recruitment team. However the key responsibilitiesare:

    People

    • Monthlyweekly and daily meetings with your HODs discussing performancesetting objectives and agreeingaccountability
    • Monthly weekly and dailytraining/coaching sessions with yourHODs.

    Commercial

    • Managingthe targets and KPIs through your HODs and other teammembers.
    • Understand and influence opportunitiesfrom your PL. Create and mange business plans as and whenrequired
    • Achieve the targets and KPIs set forthe club
    • Managing the targets and KPIs throughyour HODs and other team members
    • Understand andinfluence opportunities from your PL. Create and mange businessplans as and whenrequired.

    Operations

    • Toensure full compliance of all company policies andprocedures.
    • To ensure the correct inductionprocess is always followed for the introduction of new colleaguesor role changes.
    • All COSHH and Risk Assessmentsto be completed and reviewed six monthly/yearly as aminimum.

    • Abackground in management within the fitness industry. We aretypically looking for someone who has been a General Manager infitness Club Manager Fitness Manager Deputy/Assistant Manager orSales Manager within the fitness industry.
    • Ifyou are from outside the industry this role is still possible butyou must completely excel in the areas above and have transferrableexamples.
    • You will have energy personality andambition for this fitness job. Skillset is vital but this companyalso recruit the person sat in front of them meaning personalityand character go a long way.

    Thisfitness job can develop significantly and there are considerableexamples of this happening consistently over time and all over thecountry. The next step from this role would be progression to alarger general manager position for more experience or a clustermanagerposition.
