    Job Title: Senior Java Developer

    Job Type: Permanent

    Job Location: Nottingham (Remote)

    Job Role

    Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Java Developer to join our team. As the UK's leading provider within the industry, their vision is 'to be the UK's most trusted business'.

    To continue to achieve this they need an exceptionally talented, passionate, bright and driven individual to join their Digital team.

    As a Lead Java Developer, you'll be instrumental in the development of products and solutions that drive the delivery and implementation of projects and Digital / business change into the business.

    Duties

    · Java 17

    · Spring Boot

    · Docker

    · Test Driven Development

    · Web API/Web Service, REST and JSON

    · SQL (design, develop and monitor performance of SQL databases)

    · Continuous Development and Deployment processes

    · Source control (GIT or equivalent)

    · Setting out code and development standards

    · Leading a team of developers

    As well as ideally experience of:

    · Azure DevOps sprint management (or equivalent), boards, pipelines, releases, and artifacts etc.

    · Automated testing processes (with good analysing skills to find and solve problems).

    · React, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Groovy.

    · Scrum development lifecycle.

    · GraphQL

    · Play framework would be advantage.

    You'll also need to be:

    · Passionate about technology and always seeking for improvements.

    · A team leader with a keen eye for details and problem-solving skills.

    · A product and quality focused person.

    · Able to cope with fast paced, changing environments, ambiguity, and multiple demands.

    · Able to clearly articulate issues.

    · A high level of attention to detail and the desire to go the extra mile for your stakeholders.

    · An appetite and enthusiasm for being part of the clients future.
