    Operations & Regulatory Services Directorate
    Facility Services & Civic Management
    An opportunity exists for suitable individuals to work within the Facility Operations as an Assistant Chef at at Gosforth Junior High School
    5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus specified days

    Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services.

    We have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chef's and chef's working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings.

    Our service is committed to delivering a high standard of service to our customers and in doing so investing in our staff and staff development.

    It is desirable you have NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds catering qualification however a minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a catering environment is essential.

    Has a Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering

    ~ Able to deliver high standards of meal production and service

    ~ Can work flexible hours including occasional evening and school holidays

    ~ Has experience of working in a catering environment
