- Lead the testing efforts for our software products, including defining testing strategies, developing test plans, and executing test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Manage and prioritize testing tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Identify and report defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and development teams.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Test Lead or similar role, with a minimum of X years in software testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
