- Working day to day with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Driving local business development activity which aligns with the firmwide business development strategy
- Continually reviewing the firms market position and benchmarking against competitors
- Identifying sponsorship opportunities which enhance the firms brand and target audience reach
- Working alongside the local stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediaries
- Local event management; working with the National Marketing team to plan, host and attend the event and manage the follow up – building on national initiatives
- Client care and account planning
- Supporting local stakeholders with generating business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Supporting with the end to end bid process, from document generation to bid debriefs
- Supporting the National Marketing team with local marketing activities as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with the national Clients & Markets team, regional stakeholders and OMPs.
- Foster a collaborative culture with the wider Clients & Markets and Marketing team with a focus on a 'one team' perspective
- Share ideas and feedback within the wider Clients & Markets team to share best practice and collaborate on sector and service campaigns and activities
- Drive BD culture in the region and focus on increasing profitability
- Working alongside the local stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and intermediaries
- Attend scoping meetings with businesses alongside the stakeholders
- Create compelling bid documents that align with the 'Request for Proposal' and Crowe's offering
- Work with the stakeholders and service teams to collate all information required for the bid document
- Support with rehearsals ahead of the pitch meetings
- Chair debrief meetings with businesses following the decision
- Work with stakeholders to maintain marketing lists, target lists, client lists and the upkeep of referrals and conversion/opportunity pipeline
- Support with day to day CRM activities and encourage best practice with local teams
- Professional services BD experience and knowledge of the accountancy profession
- Experience of bid-writing and client engagement
- Able to forge strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholders

- Highly organised with excellent project management, time management and coordination skills

Job description
As part of the National Business Development and Marketing team, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Clients & Markets Manager to help drive local business development activity and focus on increasing profitability through the generation of opportunities, bid support and events that will help us grow and engage with our clients and contacts.
The Clients & Markets Manager will operate as the business partner to the regional stakeholders ensuring that the regional drive for growth remains on strategy and maintains momentum. They will work closely with the Office Managing Partner (OMP), local BD & Marketing partner lead, regional heads of sector and the wider Clients & Markets and Marketing teams. The Clients & Markets Manager role focuses on driving growth in the region through relationship management, identifying new opportunities, bid management, promoting campaigns, local data management and local event management.
The successful applicant will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, be highly organised with excellent project management, time management and coordination skills and have the ability to work well under pressure. Being able to communicate at all levels with confidence and forge strong working relationships is essential. You will be working in a National team dealing with our people and liaising with clients.
