    Description


    We are looking for a Senior Client Accounts Manager based in Exeter for our client that is the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies.

    Our clients extensive network consists of 12 leading lettings and estate agencies, and they have made over 50 strategic acquisitions to date.


    We have an exciting opportunity to join our management team in a newly created role of Senior Client Accounts Manager.

    This is a full time, permanent position located in Exeter. You'll enjoy a standard working week of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is between £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Let's talk about the role. The business requires the highest professional standards to be consistently applied to the running of its multiple client accounts.

    Some of the key duties are:


    Working with the Operations Manager and Senior Director on delivering and maintaining client accounts with appropriate controls, processes and oversight with particular focus on cost tracking, anti-fraud controls, and debt recovery.

    Ensuring the Client remains compliant with existing client account internal policies and external requirements such as client money protection, PCI compliance, record keeping, etc.

    Conducting acquisitions due diligence on lettings client accounts, pre and post completion integration planning, and following due process for merging/closing client accounts into the clients company structure.

    Working alongside the client managers to maintain accurate records, improve KPI reporting and taking ownership of the day-to-day relationships with key third parties.

    Overseeing daily account processes this includes but is not limited to receipting payments, allocating funds, reconciliations & updating our CRM systems.

    Providing regular updates and reporting on key performance indicators to department heads.
    Carrying out people management activities.

    We're looking for a candidate with qualities such as:
    Significant experience of handling client money within the UK residential property lettings sector.

    Specifically, in depth knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase ledgers, cashiering, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, client funds management, client money protection and statutory requirements.

    Ability to advise the Finance, Governance and Operations teams on client accounting matters that could impact the business.
    Demonstrable attention to detail with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
    Strong presentation skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders will be essential.
