    Sennen has recently combined forces with KrakenFlex Our vision is to transform infrastructure through technology together, for a more sustainable world. Our mission is to become the go-to technology provider for renewable energy operators who are serious about safety, automation and efficiency at scale.

    Our technology has two primary functions. For offshore wind farm operators, our sophisticated modular solution is designed to manage marine coordination, work management and health and safety control through a single integrated platform. For asset owners and funders, our software enables asset managers to streamline reporting, improve data quality and manage risk and compliance.

    Users interact with the Sennen system via our custom-built UI framework, this dynamically renders pages at runtime from dashboard definitions. These dashboards are made up of custom and open source React components as well as components built with the framework itself, data is transported via from a multitude of databases and APIs. Our full tech stack is composed of Node JS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and hosted in AWS.

    What you'll do

    • Develop reusable dashboard templates and prototypes to share with other developers.
    • Create, enhance and bug-fix our reusable React and Dashboard components to help improve developer productivity and user satisfaction.
    • Influence the Sennen approach to UX and design across the product suite, reviewing and occasionally creating designs.
    • Work closely with the dashboard framework architect to improve the framework, developer experience (editors) and documentation.
    • Review and update both new and existing dashboards, making sure they provide the best user experience and ensure this experience is consistent across all aspects of the Sennen system.

    What you'll need

    • 6+ years commercial development experience.
    • Understanding of React (or other frontend framework), and 'state' management within client apps.
    • Strong UI design and UX skills with an eye for layout and detail.
    • Experience creating reusable components & controls.
    • Understanding of performance bottlenecks and optimisation techniques.
    • Ability to write concise, robust and readable code.
    • Coding practices including testing and peer code reviews.
    • Passion for creating innovative software using high quality, well architected clean code.
    • Strong team ethic who is happy to collaborate with all aspects of the business.
    • Interest in renewable energy, offshore wind and other infrastructure on which our society depends.
