    As part of Sony Interactive Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation, PlayStation is now hiring for a Senior Web Developer role within the Audio Tools and Technology team at our London offices. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to transition SIE's Localisation platform to the cloud, revamp its architecture, and update its underlying .net framework. Join us in deploying and operating at scale while collaborating with various SIE teams to streamline localisation processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, deploy, and improve the Localised Asset Management System (LAMS) on AWS.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the LAMS development team, driving new strategies and approaches for impactful project execution.
    • Work closely with development teams at PlayStation Studios to tailor LAMS to their specific needs.
    • Offer technical support for LAMS to teams across PlayStation Studios, resolving any issues efficiently.
    • Develop clear, well-tested, and documented code that is both portable and highly functional.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in key AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and SQS, with a preference for AWS certification.
    • Experience with deploying and managing windows-based services on EC2.
    • B.Sc. degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
    • Demonstrated skills in coding and database languages like C#, .net core, and MySQL or equivalents.
    • Proven track record as a software engineer overcoming complex challenges.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with teammates.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • Background in migrating software to a cloud-based architecture.
    • Experience in web-frontend development, particularly in Typescript and UI frameworks.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
    • Hands-on experience with game engines and development tools like Unreal and Unity.
